Katie Cassmeyer is a Landscape Designer with over 10 years of experience creating outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and practical. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture from the University of Missouri–Columbia, where she built a strong foundation in design, plant knowledge, and outdoor planning.
A large part of Katie’s career has been focused on designing around pools, helping homeowners turn their backyards into complete outdoor living environments. She previously worked in Evansville, Indiana, where she designed and estimated a wide range of projects, often collaborating with custom home builders on larger outdoor living spaces that included pools, pool houses, fire features, water elements, and lighting.
Katie recently relocated and joined Pools of Fun, drawn to the company’s long-standing reputation and the rapid growth of its outdoor living department. She saw it as an opportunity to continue developing her skills while being part of a team that’s building something exciting.
What Katie enjoys most is working directly with clients—understanding their needs, selecting the right pool, and then enhancing the entire space with thoughtful landscaping and features. She’s also highly skilled in 3D design software, allowing clients to clearly visualize their finished backyard before the project even begins.
With Katie, every project is approached as a complete vision—from the pool itself to the final finishing touches that make a space feel like home.
