Colin Short brings fresh energy and a passion for creating dream backyards to the Pools of Fun team as our Design Consultant at our Plainfield location. With a business management degree from Anderson University and a genuine love for helping families transform their outdoor spaces, Colin has quickly become a trusted partner for homeowners throughout Central Indiana.

A true Hoosier at heart, Colin grew up in Anderson before spending seven years in Phoenix, where he gained valuable perspective on outdoor living in different climates. He’s been back in Indiana for sixteen years now, giving him deep roots in the community and a real understanding of what Indiana families want in their backyards.

When it comes to pool design, Colin has a clear favorite: the Imagine Bliss pool. “I love everything about this design,” Colin explains. “The curved tanning ledge and step design create such a beautiful flow, the full-length bench is perfect for relaxing and hanging out with family and friends, and there’s still a functional corner for serious swimming. It really captures what backyard living should be about.”

Outside of designing beautiful backyards, Colin stays busy with his wife and two teenage children. He’s an avid sports fan who loves both playing and watching games, and the family enjoys traveling around the country and world together. Colin’s combination of business expertise, design passion, and genuine care for his clients makes him an invaluable addition to the Pools of Fun family.
